Dr. Krueger's Professional Biography

I am Dr. Kelly Krueger, D.O. and I am a family physician in private practice in Novi, Michigan. I have been a solo practitioner since 2002 after being a staff physician at Providence Medical Center for the previous eight years. I enjoy the autonomy and independence of having my own practice.

In addition to my private practice, I am also a staff physician at the American Indian Health Service in Detroit, Michigan. I am an active staff member at Providence Hospital (Southfield) and Providence Park (Novi) and a courtesy staff member at Oakwood Hospital (Dearborn)

I graduated from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan with a B.S. degree in biology. I attended and graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan in 1991.

My postgraduate training included a rotating internship at St John Oakland General Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan and a Family Practice Residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.

I am licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan and State of California. I am board certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and the American Board of Family Physicians. I regularly attend continuing education programs in areas of interest relevant to my practice. I am a member of a number of professional groups, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.

My combination of my formal education as an osteopathic physician and my residence training at a medical hospital has shaped my views on the practice of medicine. I believe in and practice traditional medicine but am also open-minded to alternative options. Many of my patients choose to combine both conventional and alternative medicine in their treatment and care. Also, many area midwives coordinate newborn care with my office because of my flexibility and integration of their practices.

My goal is to provide the best possible medical care to my patients in conjunction with their needs and desires, in a warm friendly environment. I do this with open communication in a personal and caring way, which is the only way that I know how to practice medicine. I hope to see you and your family soon.
